Subwaydle is a fun puzzle game that was inspired by Wordle. You have six chances to guess the correct subway trip.

How to play

Wordle's guesses must be real words, and Subwaydle's guesses must be real subway rides in New York City. This only works if all the trains are running on time. If a rail line isn't in the right spot on the route, it will be marked with a yellow sign. It will be marked green if it is in the right place on the route. No trip includes a quick stop at a bar or subway station.
The game was made by Sunny Ng, who lives and works in New York City. Sunny Ng, a software designer in New York City, is a big fan of public transportation. He used his computer skills to make a real-time map of the subway and a service tracker. Even though Ng wasn't paid seven figures when The New York Times bought Wordle, the city's transit experts like to play Subwaydle.
